175 passengers arrived by Indigo flight from Sharjah to Pune

Pune July 14, 2020: Around 175 passengers from Sharjah arrived by Indigo flight at Pune airport on Tuesday afternoon. The flight was scheduled to arrive at 4.10 pm but arrived 10 minutes before time.

This was the second flight arrival at Pune from Sharjah under Vande Bharat Mission. On June 21, Air Arabia flight landed carrying first set of 176 passengers who were stranded at Sharjah due to the pandemic situation.

As per information provided by Deputy Commissioner of Custom Bharat Anvale “Indigo flight 6E 8627 arrived at 4 pm on Tuesday at the Pune airport. All passengers were scanned properly. Later, the flight departed from Pune to Mumbai.”

Airport Authority of India (AAI), Customs, Immigration and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) coordinated to facilitate the movement. All the agencies including customs followed COVID-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) including use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), maintaining social distancing, use of sanitizer, etc.

 

The travel was arranged by Aami Parivaar GCC Social Group members Dhawal Nandedkar and Neelam Nandedkar.
