1838 new COVID patients detected in Pune city, 18 deaths

Pune, July 18, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 774 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 1838 new patients were detected while 18 patients died (see below). Today swab samples of 6981 people were collected for COVID tests.

 

 

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 35,878 out of which 21,881 have been cured while 935 have died. There are still 13062 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 547 critical patients out of which 89 are on ventilator support.

 

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 10446 out of which 6480 have been cured while 175 have died. 2993 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 259 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 51 non-PCMC residents have died while 512 have been cured.

 

In Maharashtra, a total of 5306 patients were discharged while 8348 new Covid-19 cases were reported today. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 300937. As of today, there are 123377 active cases in the state. 165663 patients have been cured until now.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1038715 across the country. Out of this, 653750 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 26273 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 358692 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
