19th Edition of Pune Design Festival to take place from February 28th to March 1st

Pune, 27th February 2025: Association of Designers of India (ADI), Pune Chapter is organizing the 19th Edition of Pune Design Festival between February 28th and March 1st at Hotel Hyatt Regency on Nagar Road. More than 30 expert speakers from India and abroad will share their thoughts on various aspects of design during the event. Workshops and panel discussions are also planed during the Pune Design Festival.
Yogesh Dandekar, President of the Pune Chapter of ADI said, “The theme of this edition of the Pune Design Festival is ‘Mind The World’. The focus of discussions will be on design that can lead us to a more sustainable, responsible and connected tomorrow. Now’s the time to push boundaries, share ideas, and show how powerful design can be. This theme will bring forth discussions, debates, case studies and workshops that showcase the insights from our changing times for a better tomorrow.”
“Design is moving faster than ever, shaping what our lives could look like by 2050. With creativity, tech, and social change all blending, design isn’t just about looks anymore—it’s shaping industries and kickstarting a wave of startups. India’s design scene has the vibe and is ready to go global”, he added.
The festival begin with the keynote address of Dick Powell who is co-founder of internationally renowned design and innovation company Seymourpowell. He will speak on Optimistic Futurism. The Festival will conclude with the closing address by Varun Grover who is an Indian lyricist, writer, stand-up comedian and filmmaker. He won the award for Best Lyricist at the 63rd National Film Awards in 2015.
