2 killed, 5 injured in car accident while coming back from holidays
Bhor – Two persons were died, while three others sustained serious injuries when their car fell in a duct near Shivre in Bhor taluka, on the Pune-Satara highway in the wee hours of Tuesday.
Police said that they had gone to Malwan for three days long weekend and the accident happened when they were returning to home in Pune.
The deceased have been identified as Anand Purushottam Saindane (42) of Dhayari and Vedant Nitin Jagatap (21) of Daman.
According to police, Saindane and Jagtap families are relatives. As there was three days long holiday, they had gone to their resort in Malwan. While coming back, the the car driver lost control over the wheels and the car fell in the duct around 2 am.
