200 New COVID Cases, 3 Deaths Reported In Pune District

Pune, 19th November 2021: A total of 200 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 229 people were discharged from hospitals. 03 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 2163 active patients in the district and 738 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1425 are in home isolation. Out of 200 new cases, 75 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 45 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 09 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 04 in cantonments, and 67 in rural areas.
Among the 03 deaths, two were in PMC, and one was in PCMC. Out of 229 discharged patients, 113 were in PMC, 35 were in PCMC, 7 were in municipal councils, 02 were in cantonments, and 72 were in rural areas.
