2353 Foreigners Get Visa Extensions In Pune Due To COVID Pandemic

Pune, 30th September 2021: Pune city police’s foreign registration office (FRO) has given visa extension to 2,353 foreigners who were stranded in India due to the Coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic.

Meanwhile, cases have been registered against 24 foreign citizens in Pune city while 134 have been blacklisted for violating the visa rules.

Foreigners mostly come to Pune for education, business and medical reasons, FRO officials said.
