26 Km Long Road Built On National Highway In Just 18 Hours, Will Be Recorded In Limca Book Of Records

Solapur, February 28, 2021: Hyderabad-based infrastructure company IJM set a new record on Saturday. The company built 25.54 lane kilometers (12.77 km) of the road in less than 18 hours. This construction has been conducted on the 4-lane National Highway-13 between Solapur-Bijapur.

 

This road was built in just 17 hours and 45 minutes. The company will now enter its name in the Limca Book of Records. For the first time in India, a national highway project has been built so fast. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari tweeted regarding the same.

 

 

 

Nitin Gadkari tweeted, ‘The National Highways Authority of India ( @NHAI_Official ) has recently completed a 25.54-km single-lane demarcation work on the Solapur-Vijapur highway under 4-laning work in 18 hours, which will be recorded in the ‘Limca Book of Records’.’

Work on 110 km of Solapur-Bijapur highway is currently in progress which will be completed by October 2021.
