3rd RefTech Series Celebrated by Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers Pune Branch
Pune, 27th June 2023: The Pune Branch of the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) organized the 3rd RefTech Series, coinciding with the global celebration of World Refrigeration Day on June 26.
To commemorate this significant day, the Pune branch planned and executed a series of events throughout the month. The activities included industrial tours and seminars conducted at renowned companies such as Kirloskar Pneumatic, Alfa Lu-Ve, Refcon, and Parag Marketing. Following this year’s theme, “Know Your Product,” the programs aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding in the industry.
The event commenced with an introduction by Manas Kulkarni, followed by an informative session led by Nandkishore Kotkar, President of the Pune branch, who provided insights into the organization’s initiatives.
Sanjay Phadke delved into the topic of energy efficiency in cold storage, while Dr. Kundan Kumar shed light on Sustainability Reality and Carbon Dioxide, a new gas. Neeraj Magnani discussed the advancements in IoT and Augmented Reality. The chief guests, Arvind Surange and RP Paranjpe, emphasized the impact of refrigeration on our lives and the environment.
The event received sponsorship from prominent companies such as Hycon, Parag Marketing, and Refcool, highlighting their support for the industry. The program was skillfully moderated by Mahesh More and Devika Mutha, with Manas Kulkarni, Pramod Waje, Mahesh More, and other members contributing to its successful organization. Subhash Khande extended gratitude to all attendees, acknowledging their presence and participation. The event attracted delegates from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Konkan, and other regions, further amplifying its significance and reach.
The 3rd RefTech Series organized by ISHRAE Pune Branch proved to be a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and fostering industry collaboration.
