4 day IEEE International Conference on Information Processing held in Pune

The IEEE International Conference on Information Processing organized by Department of Electronics Engineering, BRACT’s Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune was held from 16^th to 19^th December. The Chief Guest for the inaugural; event held on 17^th December, was Dr. Suresh Naik, Chairman, International Space Society, President Vijnana Bharati Pune, Ex-Group Director, ISRO.

After lighting the inaugural lamp, alongwith Mr. Bharat Agarwal, Managing Trustee, Vishwakarma Group and other dignitaries, Dr Naik enlightened the audience with his speech on Chandrayan–1, which was India’s first mission to the Moon, launched successfully on October 22, 2008 from SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota,  and Mangalyan,  the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), which was launched on 5 November 2013 by ISRO.
