40th Anniversary commemoration event for the Marathi film ‘Jait Re Jait’
Pune, 18th September, 2017 : ‘Jait Re Jait’ one of the greatest hit in Marathi cinema was immensely impactful in creating magic in its era. To let Punekars experience that mesmerizing charm, Mitra Foundation have organized a unique audio-visual program ‘Jait Re Jait- Ek Smaranyatra’ on Friday, 22ndSeptember, 2017 at 6.30pm at Yeshwantrao Chavhan Natyagruh, Kothrud in commemoration of 40thAnniversary of the famous film.
Esteemed dignitaries like Usha Mangeshkar, renowned singer, Pt. Hridaynath Mangeshkar, a music composer and singer, Dr. Jabbar Patel, theatre and film director, Dr. Mohan Agashe, theater and film actor, Namdeo Dhondo Mahanor, famous Marathi poet, Satish Aalekar,Marathi playwright, actor, and theatre director will grace the occasion by their presence. The event will be conducted and moderated by Chandrakant Kale who will be in conversation with the dignitaries present at the occasion.
Well-known singers like Ravi Sathe, Chandrakant Kale, Radha Mangeshkar and Madhura Datar will be recreating the musical aura in the program by singing and performing the songs from the movie. Also, Darshana Jog, Ajay Atre, Amar Oak, Dr. Rajendra Doorkar, Vishal Gandratvar, Mukesh Dedhiya and Yash Bhandare too will be contributing in the musical.
