434 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 50,064 Vaccine Doses Administered

Pune, 5th October 2021: A total of 434 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 622 people were discharged from hospitals. 05 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

 

Today, A total of 50,064 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,08,82,577. About 72,98,718 people have got the first dose while 35,83,859 people have got two doses.

 

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 5615 active patients in the district and 2514 of them are admitted to hospitals while 3101 are in home isolation. Out of 434 new cases, 162 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 75 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 34 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 10 in cantonments, and 153 in rural areas.

 

Among the 05 deaths, two were in PMC, two were in PCMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 622 discharged patients, 167 were in PMC, 64 were in PCMC, 45 were in municipal councils, 06 were in cantonments, and 340 were in rural areas.
