5 more deaths due to Coronavirus in Pune, tally reaches 13

Pune, April 8, 2020: With five more deaths today due to Coronavirus COVID19, the total casualty due to the deadly virus has reached 13 in Pune. Also, the Coronavirus positive patients number has reached 167 today including 27 who have been cured and discharged.

Shekhar Gaikwad, Municipal Commissioner of Pune Municipal corporation (PMC) said that total death toll in the city has reached 13. The patients had co-morbid conditions.

According to officials, three patients died at Sassoon General Hospital while one each succumbed at Naidu Hospital and Noble Hospital.

According to Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India’s total number of Coronavirus positive cases has increased to 5194 (including 4643 active cases, 401 cured/discharged people and 149 deaths). There is increase of 773 new #COVID19 cases and 10 new deaths recorded in last 24 hours.
