515 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 72,676 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 12th October 2021: A total of 515 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 441 people were discharged from hospitals. 06 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 72,676 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,12,96,276. About 74,75,142 people have got the first dose while 38,21,134 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 4828 active patients in the district and 2559 of them are admitted to hospitals while 2269 are in home isolation. Out of 515 new cases, 115 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 96 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 30 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 07 in cantonments, and 267 in rural areas.
Among the 06 deaths, two were in PMC, one was in PCMC, one was in cantonments, and two were in rural areas. Out of 441 discharged patients, 169 were in PMC, 107 were in PCMC, 10 were in municipal councils, 15 were in cantonments, and 140 were in rural areas.
