54 Ashadi Special Trains Announced from Pune, Nagpur, Amravati, Latur and Bhusaval

Pune, 01 July 2026: Central Railway will operate 54 Ashadi Special train services between July 22 and July 29 for pilgrims travelling to Pandharpur and Miraj during the Ashadi Fair. The special schedule gives priority to connectivity from Pune with 14 daily unreserved Pune–Miraj special services, besides introducing reserved and unreserved trains from Nagpur, New Amravati, Khamgaon, Latur, Bhusaval and Kolhapur.

For Pune passengers, Train No. 01207 will run daily from July 23 to 29, departing Pune at 8.40 am and reaching Miraj at 6.45 pm. The return Train No. 01208 will leave Miraj at 7.30 pm and arrive in Pune at 4.30 am the next day. The trains will halt at Hadapsar, Uruli, Daund, Jeur, Kurduwadi, Modlimb, Pandharpur, Sangola, Wasud, Javale, Mhasoba Dongargaon, Jath Road, Dhalgaon, Langarpeth, Kavathe Mahankal, Salgare, Belanki and Arag. Each train will have 12 General Second Class/Sleeper coaches and two brake vans.

Among the reserved services, Nagpur–Miraj Specials (4 services) will run on July 23 and 24 from Nagpur, with return trips on July 24 and 25. These trains will pass through Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusaval, Manmad, Ahilyanagar, Daund, Kurduwadi and Pandharpur before reaching Miraj. Each train will comprise 2 AC 3-tier, 10 Sleeper, 4 General coaches and 2 brake vans.

New Amravati–Pandharpur Specials (4 services) will operate on July 21 and 24, with return trips on July 22 and 25, via Badnera, Akola, Bhusaval, Manmad, Ahilyanagar, Daund and Kurduwadi. The trains will have 2 AC 3-tier, 10 Sleeper, 4 General coaches and 2 brake vans.

Khamgaon–Pandharpur Specials (4 services) will run on July 21 and 23, returning on July 22 and 24, covering Jalamb, Bhusaval, Manmad, Ahilyanagar, Daund and Kurduwadi before reaching Pandharpur. The rake composition will remain the same as the Amravati specials.

Latur–Pandharpur Specials (8 services) will operate on July 24, 27, 28 and 29, with same-day return services. These trains will halt at Harangul, Ausa Road, Dharashiv, Barsi Town, Kurduwadi and Modlimb before reaching Pandharpur. Each train will consist of 9 Sleeper and 4 General coaches along with 2 brake vans.

Among the unreserved services, Bhusaval–Pandharpur Specials (4 services) will run on July 24 and 25, with return trips on July 25 and 26, via Jalgaon, Manmad, Ahilyanagar, Daund and Kurduwadi. These trains will have 16 General/Sleeper coaches and 2 brake vans.

Kolhapur–Kurduwadi Specials (16 services) will operate daily from July 22 to 29, connecting Kolhapur, Miraj, Sangola and Pandharpur with Kurduwadi. Each service will consist of 12 General/Sleeper coaches and 2 brake vans.

Bookings for the reserved special trains will open on July 1 through computerized reservation centres and the IRCTC portal. Tickets for unreserved specials will be available through the UTS ticketing system. Central Railway has also stated that additional special trains may be introduced depending on passenger demand during the Ashadi Fair.
