573 drunk driving cases in Pune on New Year eve
Pune – For the first time, a record 573 people were penalised by Pune city police reportedly driving under the influence of alcohol on December 31st night.
The action was taken across Pune, Pimpri and Chinchwad. Most people were caught in Vishrantwadi, Hinjawadi and Dattawadi areas of the city.
Police officials said that action was also taken against 186 for triple seat riding and 12 for rash driving.
