577 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 22,598 Vaccine Doses Administered
Today, A total of 22,598 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,09,49,316. About 73,23,237 people have got the first dose while 36,26,079 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 5715 active patients in the district and 2766 of them are admitted to hospitals while 2949 are in home isolation. Out of 577 new cases, 129 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 79 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 42 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 11 in cantonments, and 316 in rural areas.
Among the 09 deaths, three were in PMC, three were in PCMC, one was in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), and two were in rural areas. Out of 411 discharged patients, 107 were in PMC, 68 were in PCMC, 36 were in municipal councils, 12 were in cantonments, and 188 were in rural areas.
