646 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 1.55 Lakh Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 11 September 2021: A total of 646 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 1193 people were discharged from hospitals. 09 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 1.55 lakh COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 90.80 lakh. About 65.06 lakh people have got the first dose while 25.74 lakh people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 8,253 active patients in the district and 3953 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4300 are in home isolation. Out of 646 new cases, 134 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 112 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 40 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 10 in cantonments, and 350 in rural areas.
Among the 09 deaths, four were in PMC, two were in PCMC, and three were in rural areas. Out of 1193 discharged patients, 287 were in PMC, 294 were in PCMC, 90 were in municipal councils, 12 were in cantonments, and 510 were in rural areas.
