7 New Police Stations Along With 800 Additional Personnel Approved For Pune Police,” Says Chandrakant Patil

Pune, 22nd October 2022: District Guardian minister Chandrakant Patil today informed that Pune city police will soon get 800 additional personnel. He added that seven new police stations namely Wagholi, Kharadi, Kalepadal, Fursungi, Ambegaon, Nanded City and Baner will be established.
Patil addressed a press conference at the Police Commissioner’s office after a review meeting with senior officials about the law and order situation and traffic problems.
Patil said, “Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta has taken some initiatives to resolve the traffic issuez like deploying wardens to assist cops, notifying local police stations to maintain traffic signals in their jurisdictions.”
Former mayor Muralidhar Mohol, standing committee chairman Hemant Rasne, ex-MLA Bapu Pathare were also present at the conference.
