750 Tribal Students to Benefit as Amanora YES Foundation Builds Sports Complex in Buldhana
Pune, 31st July 2026: Demonstrating its commitment to social responsibility, Amanora YES Foundation has adopted the Suryodaya Pardhi Samaj Tribal Ashram School in Khamgaon, Buldhana district, and developed a state-of-the-art sports complex along with an indoor auditorium for its students. The grand facility will be inaugurated by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Pujaniya Dr. Mohan Bhagwat on August 8, 2026, announced Aniruddha Deshpande, Chairman of Amanora YES Foundation and City Group, during a press conference. Vivek Kulkarni was also present on the occasion.
The Ashram School was originally established by Pujaniya Bhaiyyuji Maharaj. In 2014, Shri Sadguru Datta Dharmik Evam Paramarthik Trust and Amanora YES Foundation assumed responsibility for the institution. To encourage students to excel in sports, the Foundation has developed dedicated volleyball, handball, and basketball courts, along with a fully equipped indoor auditorium.
The Ashram School currently provides education to around 750 students from the Pardhi tribal community. In addition to academic education, vocational training has also been introduced to enhance students’ employability. Courses in Electrician, Plumbing, Motor Mechanic, and Beauty & Wellness are now being offered at the school.
Under the Foundation’s ‘Swayamsiddha’ initiative, girl students manufacture attractive cloth bags from recycled sarees. Each student receives ₹25 per bag, enabling them to earn while learning. Through this initiative, ₹10,000 has been credited to the account of each participating girl student, and the amount will be formally presented to them by Dr. Mohan Bhagwat during the inauguration ceremony on August 8, Aniruddha Deshpande informed.
For several years, Amanora YES Foundation has been actively implementing a range of social and educational initiatives. Besides providing scholarships to deserving girls from rural areas, the Foundation has financially supported the higher education of numerous students. These scholarships have transformed lives, enabling the daughter of an auto-rickshaw driver to become a doctor, the daughter of an Anganwadi worker to become an IT engineer, and the daughter of a vegetable vendor to become a government officer.
The Foundation has also awarded the Meera Deshpande Scholarship worth ₹11 lakh to 40 nursing students. Additionally, for the past eight years, it has been honouring the dedicated support staff, including ward assistants and caregivers at Sassoon General Hospital, with the Meera Deshpande Seva Samman Award in recognition of their invaluable service, Deshpande added.
