821 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District, 1157 Discharged Today
Pune, 19th July 2021: A total of 821 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 1157 people were discharged from hospitals. 10 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, there are 9555 active patients in the district and 5115 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4440 are in home isolation. Out of 821 new cases, 196 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 179 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 64 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 07 in cantonments, and 375 in rural areas.
Among the 10 deaths, six were in PMC, one was in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), and three were in rural areas. Out of 1157 discharged patients, 289 were in PMC, 222 were in PCMC, 97 were in municipal councils, 11 were in cantonments, and 538 were in rural areas.
