91 players to be seen in action at ITF Sprint National Triathlon Championships 2023.

Pune , August 14, 2023 : A total 91 players from 20 states will be seen in action at the ITF Sprint National Triathlon Championships 2023 which will be organized by Maharashtra Triathlon Association under aeiges of Indian Triathlon Federation to be held at Swimming Complex and internal roads of Shree Shivchatrapati Kreeda Sankul, Mhalunge Balewadi, Pune from 15th to 17th August 2023.

The Championship will have individual Sprint distance 750m swim 18.6km cycle 4.8km run and Mixed team relay – 250m 6.2km cycle 2.4km run.

Athletes from 20 states which include Maharashtra, Assam, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Madhyapradesh, Odisha, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Gujarat, Bihar, Uttarpradesh and SSCB will be seen in action, Mr Harish Prasad, Development Officer from ITF added “This championship will also be the qualification event for National Games to be held in Goa later in the year. Athletes representing India in Asian Games and commonwealth Youth Games 2023 will also be taking part in this championship which makes it as a marquee event of the year.”

Adarsh Muralidharan (SSCB), Rahul Shinde (SSCB), Nganba Meitei (Manipur), Pragyna Mohan (Gujarat), Sanjana Joshi (Maharashtra) and Mansi Mohite (Maharashtra) are some of the top triathletes who will be seen in action at the championship on 16 & 17 August.
