934 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 61,537 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 09 September 2021: A total of 934 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 689 people were discharged from hospitals. 08 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours. Today, a total of 61,537 doses of the COVID vaccine was administered to people in the district.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 8888 active patients in the district and 4426 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4462 are in home isolation. Out of 934 new cases, 200 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 183 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 128 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 13 in cantonments, and 410 in rural areas.
Among the 08 deaths, three were in PMC, one was in PCMC, one was in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad) and three were in rural areas. Out of 689 discharged patients, 123 were in PMC, 123 were in PCMC, 65 were in municipal councils, 13 were in cantonments, and 365 were in rural areas.
