Pune: 37th Raising Day Of Army Aviation Corps
Pune, 1st November 2022: Army Aviation Corps has evolved into a decisive third dimensional manoeuvre arm, rendering a definite combat edge to the field force commanders. The arm has grown exponentially and is now set to play a pivotal role in all modern battlefield scenarios. It has also been in the forefront providing succour to the common man during times of natural calamities.
The Corps has witnessed qualitative as well as quantitative growth in the last 36 years of its raising and has earned numerous accolades for its performance in all spheres. The arm is poised to meet the future challenges of operation alisingstate of the art rotary and fixed wing (UAVs) platforms. On the occasion of 37th Raising Day of the Corps on 01 November 2022, Lieutenant General Ajai Kumar Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command complimented all ranks of Army Aviation Corps for living up to their motto of ‘Swift and Sure’ and urged them to continue with the same gusto and spirit.
