Senior Citizen Loses Money Checked In As Luggage On Flight To Pune
Pune, 4th November 2022: A 68-year-old retired professor lost Rs 76,000 he was carrying as luggage on his air journey from Patna to Pune for medical treatment. Shambu Singh travelled with IndiGo Airlines to the city via Patna. He had checked in two bags with the money as part of his luggage. Singh’s condition is serious, and he had managed to save the amount through his monthly pensions and would acquire assistance from his son for the remaining amount.
Singh and his wife arrived in Pune on October 26. According to the duo, their bags were not sealed when they received them at the airport. However, according to airline officials, the bags were sealed at the Patna airport. Notably, no confirmation has been given regarding the same from the Delhi airport where the couple took their connecting flight.
