Pune: Elderly Man Found Murdered In Pisoli, Police Investigation On
Pisoli, 24th April 2023: A 65-year-old man was brutally murdered in Pisoli, Pune. His body was found early this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Hajimuddin Borate. On receiving information about the gruesome incident, Kondhwa police rushed to the site of the crime to take custody of the victim’s body, which was later sent for a post-mortem examination.
The identity of the murderer remains unknown, and an air of mystery shrouds this heinous crime. The perpetrator allegedly hit the defenceless victim’s head with an unknown object outside the Ambekar Hotel, Katraj Bypass Road, leaving him dead on the spot. The police have initiated an investigation, and efforts are being made to identify the perpetrator through CCTV footage of the area.
According to Senior Police Inspector Santosh Sonawane Patil of Kondhwa Police Station, the deceased was a regular alcohol consumer. On the night of the incident, he was sitting outside his house on a chair with his walker. Despite repeated requests from family members, he refused to go inside and stayed out. His family members went to bed, and in the morning, they discovered his body.
