Madrid, 6th October 2023 – Sadhguru, the renowned spiritual leader and founder of the Isha Foundation, recently embarked on a special journey to Spain where he had the unique opportunity to visit the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, the home ground of the Spanish football powerhouse, Atletico Madrid.
During his visit, Sadhguru had a delightful encounter with French football sensation and 2018 World Cup winner, Antoine Griezmann. The two influential figures shared a memorable moment as they posed for a photograph, with Sadhguru proudly donning his own Atletico Madrid jersey.
The official YouTube and X accounts of Atletico de Madrid shared a video capturing Sadhguru’s visit to the stadium. In the video, Sadhguru expressed his admiration for the stadium’s beauty and the electrifying atmosphere it exudes. He described the stadium as “beautiful” and commented on its roaring energy.
Adding to the excitement of his visit, Sadhguru attended a UEFA Champions League match between Atletico Madrid and Feyenoord. The thrilling encounter ended with Atletico Madrid emerging victorious with a 3-2 scoreline. Sadhguru revealed his deep affection for Antoine Griezmann, expressing his admiration for the talented footballer.
During his visit, Sadhguru also had the privilege of meeting Atletico Madrid’s revered manager, Diego Simeone. This encounter further cemented his special connection with the football club.
