Pune: 5 Students Injured After Their Autorickshaw Collided With Dumper At NDA Chowk, Admitted In Hospitals
Bavdhan, 12th December 2023: An auto rickshaw, transporting students from MIT Pre School, collided with a speeding dumper at NDA (Chandni) Chowk, resulting in serious injuries to four to five school students.
The incident took place today around 12:30 pm along the Mumbai Bangalore highway.
The collision transpired when the autorickshaw, post-school hours, collided with a dumper in the subway, following a loss of control by the rickshaw driver. Swift police response led to the prompt transfer of the injured students to the hospital, with four girls admitted to Asian Hospital and one boy at Chelaram Hospital.
Parents, informed about the accident, have rushed to the hospital.
