Heartfelt Condolence offered to Late Shri. Mangesh Tendulkar ji, by Suryadatta Group of Institutes
Since Inception in the year 1999, Suryadatta Group of Institutes has been associated with world renowned cartoonist and Social Activist Mangesh Tendulkar ji.
Late Shri. Mangesh Tendulkar ji was instrumental in creating traffic awareness in Pune city and extended a great support to Pune Traffic Police. As a social activist, he was associated with the traffic branch of the Pune Police. He created the awareness among people about obeying traffic
rules. His several cartoons and caricatures based on the theme of traffic are displayed at various junctions and signals in the city. He used to personally stand on Karve road, Pune for creating awareness regarding the traffic for the last 17 years.
Suryadatta Group of Institutes organised a condolence meeting at Tilak Smarak Mandir, Pune on 18th July, 2017. The meeting was attended by daughter of Late Shri. Mangesh Tendulkar ji Mrs. Neha Dhavale and Dr.Sanjay Chordiya Chairman and Founder Director of Suryadatta Group of Institutes, the staff and students and eminent personalities from the world of Interior Decoration, Press and Fashion Technology etc.
Video recordings and photographs of various social activities of Late Shri. Mangesh Tendulkar ji were displayed on this occasion. It was heart warming to see his never say die spirit and concern for the welfare of the society even at a ripe age of 80 years. Mrs. Neha Dhavale, daughter of Late Shri. Mangesh Tendulkar ji recalled her upbringing and values and morals inculcated in her by her late father.
Dr.Sanjay Chordiya gave glorious tributes to the selfless and yeomen service rendered by Late Shri. Mangesh Tendulkar ji. He recalled that the Suryadatta Group of Institutes had honoured Shri. Mangesh Tendulkar ji with Suryadatta Life Time Achievement Award. Shri. Mangesh Tendulkar ji has received dozens of awards from various organisations in recognition of his contribution to the society.
Dr. Sanjay Chordia fondly recalled the memories like affinity of Shri Mangesh Tendulkarji and his special love with Suryadatta family. He said, “Shri Mangesh Tendulkarji has been inspiring our students by participating in various initiatives for last 15 years. He was a senior mentor to Suryadatta family. He always attended the programmes spontaneously and continued to guide and encourage the students. The invaluable guidance by such a towering personality will always remind us about him.”
