Pimpri Chinchwad: Youths Pray for Devendra Fadnavis as Chief Minister and Shankar Jagtap as Minister
Pimpri, 27th November 2024: A group of enthusiastic youth in Pimpri-Chinchwad came together to pray for former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to return to the helm as Chief Minister and for Shankar Jagtap to secure a position in the state cabinet. The event underscored the youth’s admiration for these leaders and their developmental vision for Maharashtra and Pimpri-Chinchwad.
Fadnavis, widely regarded as a pivotal figure in Maharashtra’s progress, earned widespread acclaim for his leadership and transformative governance during his tenure as Chief Minister. His administration spearheaded landmark projects such as the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Mahamarg, a mega-infrastructure initiative that significantly boosted the state’s connectivity and economy. His focus on transparent governance, financial discipline, and urban development also left a lasting impact.
Programs like the Jalyukt Shivar Yojana, aimed at drought-proofing villages, and initiatives promoting job creation, skill development, and technology-driven governance, resonated with the youth, solidifying his popularity.
Simultaneously, prayers were offered for Shankar Jagtap’s inclusion in the state cabinet, reflecting the local youth’s belief in his potential to catalyze Pimpri-Chinchwad’s growth. The Jagtap family has been instrumental in the city’s infrastructure development, industrial advancement, and civic progress. Youth leaders expressed optimism that Jagtap’s induction would further accelerate these efforts.
The prayer event saw the participation of several young leaders, including Sambhaji Shendge, Nikhil Kolhe, Pratik Waghmare, Shreyas Londhe, Ganesh Kokhle, Prajwal Pathurde, Aayush Kamble, Saksham Desai, Shivam Raut, and Pratik Mirge, among others.
