Pune: Pracheeti Dange Triumphs in Thailand with Spectacular Odissi Dance Performances
Bangkok/Pune, 26th December 2024: Renowned Odissi exponent Pracheeti Dange recently concluded a triumphant series of performances in Thailand, captivating audiences with her grace, precision, and evocative storytelling through Odissi dance. Her performances not only celebrated the timeless beauty of this ancient Indian classical art form but also strengthened cultural ties between India and Thailand.
On 20th December 2024, Pracheeti Dange performed at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), Embassy of India, Bangkok, in an event presented by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). The evening was graced by the presence of Shri Pranav Ganesh, Consul General, CGI, Chiang Mai, along with other distinguished guests and an enthusiastic audience. Pracheeti’s performance was a resounding success, with attendees applauding her mastery in expressing intricate emotions, devotion, and storytelling through Odissi.

Adding another milestone to her artistic journey, Pracheeti performed at the historic Dev Mandir in Bangkok, hosted by the Hindu Samaj Bangkok, on 22nd December 2024. With an audience of over 400 attendees, her recital in this 100-year-old temple was a mesmerizing experience that resonated deeply with the spiritual ambiance of the sacred space.
Both performances not only showcased Pracheeti’s artistic brilliance but also emphasized her dedication to bridging cultures through dance. Her ability to seamlessly blend tradition with artistic expression left a lasting impression on everyone present.
