Pune: 28-Year-Old Arrested in Alandi for Sexual Harassment of Minor Boys
Alandi, 6th January 2025: A shocking case of two minor boys being sexually harassed in Pune District’s Alandi has come to light. In connection with this incident, a 28-year-old man has been arrested by the Pimpri Chinchwad Police. The incident occurred at a religious and cultural academic institute in Alandi.
A case has been registered against Mahesh Namdev Misal (age 28, resident of Beed) and his sister. Mahesh Misal has been arrested following a complaint filed by one of the minor boys’ mothers at the Alandi Police Station.
According to police reports, the incident took place at a religious and cultural academic institute located on Vadgaon Road in Alandi. The accused had come to the institute as a guest. On Saturday night, while everyone was asleep, the man allegedly sneaked into the boys’ sleeping area and lay down beside them. Following that, he reportedly committed unnatural sexual assault on the minors.
The police have arrested the accused, and an investigation is underway under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Bhima Narke, in charge of Alandi Police Station.
