College Student Robbed at Knifepoint in Pune’s Camp Area

Camp, 4th January 2025: A college student was robbed at knifepoint in the Camp area of Pune, with the assailants making off with cash from the victim’s pocket. The incident occurred yesterday morning, and a case has been registered against the robbers.

According to the police report, the victim, a student at a college in the Camp area, was riding his two-wheeler around 5:45 AM when two individuals stopped him. The assailants threatened the young man with a knife and demanded money, warning that they would kill him if he didn’t comply.

The robbers then physically assaulted the student and stole ₹1,200 in cash from his pocket before fleeing the scene. Following the incident, the victim filed a complaint at the Lashkar Police Station, leading to the registration of a case against the two unidentified robbers.

Police Sub-Inspector Rahul Ghadge is currently investigating the case.
