Shivajinagar, 6th March 2025: A medical clinic has been inaugurated at the Shivajinagar District and Sessions Court to provide immediate medical assistance to citizens visiting for judicial proceedings.

Located on the ground floor of the new building, the clinic has been set up by the court administration to offer essential medical services and first aid. The initiative follows persistent efforts by the previous court administration to establish such a facility.

Previously, incidents such as heart attacks, dizziness, and fainting were reported among visitors at the court premises. In such cases, patients were transported to hospitals via ambulances. However, heavy traffic congestion around the court often delayed emergency response, putting lives at risk. The absence of a primary healthcare facility at the court had been a long-standing concern.

Recognizing the need for immediate medical aid, the Pune Bar Association, under the leadership of then-President and Vice President Jayashree Chaudhary-Bidkar and Vishwajeet Patil, actively pursued the establishment of the clinic.
