Pune: Fire Incident at Praj Matrix R&D Center – No Casualties, Investigation Underway
Pune, 1st April 2025: A fire incident occurred at the office block of Praj Matrix, our R&D center in Pune, on the evening of March 28 around 8:30 PM. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries, and the facility did not sustain major damage. A thorough root cause analysis is being conducted to determine the source of the incident and further strengthen the preventive measures. The safety of people and infrastructure remains the highest priority for the company.
“The company appreciates the swift response of the fire brigade of Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) and Pirangut MIDC, Pune rural police team, Grampanchayat Urawade, Mulshi Disaster Management Committee as well as the assistance from local residents in managing the situation. None of the Praj operations are adversely impacted due to this incident”, the company stated in a press release.
