Ambegaon Police Station Becomes First in Pune to Receive ISO 9001:2015 Certification
Ambegaon, 30th June 2025: In a historic achievement, Ambegaon Police Station under the Pune Police Commissionerate has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification, becoming the first police station in the city to earn this prestigious recognition.
The certificate was officially presented by Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar. Senior Police Inspector Sharad Jhine and his team were credited for their dedicated efforts, which included maintaining updated records, files, and registers to streamline operations and improve service quality. As a result, citizens are now experiencing quicker and more efficient police services.
Inspector Jhine remarked that the certification has boosted motivation among staff and also helped reduce work-related stress.
The certification ceremony was attended by senior officials, including Joint Commissioner Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Additional Commissioner Sanjay Bansode, Deputy Commissioner Smarta Patil, Assistant Commissioner Rahul Aware, Inspector Gajanan Chormale, and other dignitaries.
