Pune: Residents Form “Vishal Nagar-Pimple Nilakh Housing Forum” to Address Civic Issues Through Collective Action
Pimple Nilakh , 8th July 2025: On 6th July, residents from various housing societies in Pimpri-Chinchwad’s Vishal Nagar and Pimple Nilakh area came together to establish the “Vishal Nagar – Pimple Nilakh Housing Forum.” The forum aims to tackle local civic issues such as traffic congestion, encroachments on footpaths, public safety concerns, and complaints regarding civic amenities through coordinated and united efforts.
The newly formed forum is apolitical and intends to serve as an effective communication channel with local authorities. Driven by the belief that “our neighborhood is our responsibility,” yresidents have pledged to create a unified voice to advocate for necessary civic improvements.
Active participation in the initiative has come from societies including Water’s Edge, Shubhechha Residency, Ovhal Spring, 24K Glitterati, Epic Yashada Reality, NSG Royal, 24K Opula, Shriram Plaza, Nandanvan, Nisarg Akash, and Neco SkyPark.
The forum has appealed to more societies and residents in the area to join the initiative. With broader participation, the residents hope to build sustained and constructive pressure on the administration to address civic concerns and ensure the holistic development of the locality.
