Rail Alert: Major NI Block at Hadapsar Station on July 20; 34 Trains Disrupted on Pune-Daund Route

Pune, 19th July 2025: Non-Interlocking (NI) work scheduled for July 20, 2025 (Sunday) at Hadapsar station will impact train operations on the Pune-Daund section, with a total of 34 trains affected due to cancellations, short terminations, short originations, regulations, and rescheduling. The NI work is part of the Pune Division’s initiative to develop Hadapsar as a satellite terminal.

The NI block will be in force from 00:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs on July 20, including a traffic block from 12:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs.

Train Services Affected:

Cancelled Trains – 17

Includes local DEMU and passenger services such as Train Nos. 71401 to 71413 and express services like 01487/01488 (PUNE–HGL–PUNE TOD EXP) and 12169/12170 (PUNE–SUR EXP and vice versa).

Short Terminated Trains – 4

17014 (KZJ–HDP EXP), 20495 (JU–HDP EXP), 11422 (SUR–PUNE DEMU), and 12158 (SUR–PUNE EXP) will be short terminated at intermediate stations such as Daund and Pune.

Short Originating Trains – 4

17013 (HDP–KZJ EXP), 20496 (HDP–JU EXP), 11025 (PUNE–AMI EXP), and 11421 (HDP–SUR EXP) will originate from alternate stations like Daund and Pune instead of Hadapsar.

Regulated Trains – 5

Long-distance trains including 22159 (CSMT–MAS EXP), 16332 (TVC–CSMT EXP), 11078 (JAT–PUNE EXP), 11302 (SBC–CSMT EXP), and 12780 (NZM–VSG EXP) will be regulated between 30 minutes to over 2 hours.

Rescheduled Trains – 4

22171 (PUNE–RKMP EXP), 22943 (DD–INDB EXP), 11406 (AMI–PUNE EXP), and 16331 (CSMT–TVC EXP) will be delayed by 1 to 3 hours from their scheduled departure times.

No train diversions have been announced. Railway authorities have advised passengers to check updates before commencing their journey. The NI work is considered critical for upgrading Hadapsar into a full-fledged satellite terminal under Pune Division.
