Water Supply to Be Disrupted in Several Pune Areas on July 31 Due to Maintenance Work

Pune, 30th July 2025: Water supply in several parts of Pune will be disrupted for two hours on Thursday, July 31, as the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (Mahavitaran) undertakes maintenance and repair work at the Vadgaon Water Station.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the electricity-related work will take place from 12 noon to 2 pm, during which the Vadgaon Water Center will remain non-operational. As a result, areas dependent on this water center will experience low-pressure water supply for the day.

Residents in the following localities are likely to be affected:
Hingne, Anandnagar, Vadgaon, Dhayari, Ambegaon Pathar, Dattanagar, Dhankawadi, Katraj, Bharati Vidyapeeth area, Kondhwa Budruk, Ambegaon Khurd and Budruk, Yewalewadi, Sahakarnagar (Part 2), Ambedkarnagar, Tilaknagar, Date Bus Stop area, Sachai Mata Tank, Santosh Nagar, Sunda Mata Nagar, Wonder City, Morebag, Shrihari Tank, Balaji Nagar, Pawar Hospital area, Kedareshwar Tank, Sukhsagar Nagar (Parts 1 & 2), Rajesh, Utkarsh and Sunderban societies, Shelar Mala, Katraj Gavthan, Bharat Nagar, Warkhade Nagar, Old Wards 38 and 41, and Yewalewadi area.

PMC has advised residents in these areas to store adequate water in advance and use it judiciously during the affected period.
