Pune, 24th August 2025: Citizens in Maharashtra will soon get a Google Maps-like digital facility to access all services related to the revenue, land records, and registration and stamp duty departments through a single platform. The initiative, called the Unified Land Management Platform (ULMP), is being developed to simplify procedures and make information more accessible.

Currently, these three departments operate separate computer systems, forcing citizens to approach multiple offices for different tasks. For instance, land calculations require visiting the Land Records Department, while old property documents are accessed through the Registration and Stamp Duty Department, and Satbara (7/12 extract) or mutation-related services are handled by the Revenue Department.

The new unified platform will integrate these services and provide details in one place. Citizens will be able to know where services are available, which offices to approach, how to fill forms, what documents to attach, and how to track applications. The platform will also make it possible to register heirs, carry out land measurements, and complete other procedures seamlessly.

Developed by NIC

Officials of the Land Records Department said the system is being developed through the National Informatics Centre (NIC). “Revenue, registration, and land records departments are interconnected, but each has developed separate systems. The new Unified Land Management Platform will bring all services together for citizens and government departments on a single platform,” said Dr. Suhas Diwase, Settlement Commissioner And Director Of Land Records.

The platform is expected to improve transparency, reduce paperwork, and save time for citizens as well as government officials.
