Pune, 26th August 2025: A massive fire broke out at a TVS showroom and service centre on Bundgarden Road, Tarabaug building, on Sunday night, destroying around 60 two-wheelers and other property.

According to officials, the Pune Fire Brigade control room received a call at 8:38 pm about the incident. Fire tenders from Naidu and Yerawada fire stations, along with a water tanker from headquarters, were immediately rushed to the spot.

On arrival, fire personnel found that flames had engulfed the service centre located on the ground floor of a three-story building, generating dense smoke as the two-wheelers burned. During the operation, one firefighter was trapped due to the heavy smoke but was safely rescued by his colleagues. Equipped with breathing apparatus, the team brought the blaze under control in about 30 minutes and continued with cooling operations to prevent re-ignition.

A total of 60 two-wheelers, both petrol and electric, were destroyed in the fire. Officials said some of the vehicles were new, while others had been brought in for repairs. In addition, electrical wiring, machinery, batteries, spare parts, computers, furniture, air-conditioners, and important documents were reduced to ashes.
