Pune, 4th September 2025: Pune celebrated the grand Aarti of Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati with great devotion and enthusiasm today. The ceremony was attended by prominent personalities from the fields of entertainment, administration, music, academia, and politics.

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon led the celebrations, performing the Aarti at the deity’s feet. The event also saw the presence of PMRDA Police Superintendent Amol Jhende, Force One officer Dinesh Bari, Brigadier Satyavrat Sharon of AIPT Pune, and Zone 2 DCP Milind Mohite with his family. Renowned musician Atul Gogawale offered prayers and participated in the Aarti, alongside academics and social figures.

Members of the Savitribai Phule Pune University Academic Council, including Prasenjit Fadnavis, along with Pranjali Fadnavis and children Urvi and Savi Fadnavis, were also present for darshan and Aarti. Pandit Jayatirtha Meundi and Pandit Shaunak Abhisheki, accompanied by Abhed Abhisheki and family, added to the spiritual atmosphere with their participation.

Political leaders paid their respects during the ceremony as well, with Kasba MLA Hemant Rasane and Nilesh Lanke performing the Aarti. The celebrations were further elevated by a special offering of 350 kg of Modak by Deepak Caterers at the deity’s feet. Lieutenant General Sandeep Jain, Chief of Staff, Southern Command, also attended, marking the occasion with his presence.

The event highlighted the devotion and unity of Pune’s citizens and dignitaries, making the grand Aarti a memorable celebration of faith, spirituality, and community.
