Pune: Activa Scooter Catches Fire in Gangadham Phase 1, No Injuries Reported
Market Yard, 5th September 2025: Panic erupted in Gangadham Phase 1 late in the evening on Thursday when an Activa scooter suddenly caught fire around 8:32 PM. The blaze sparked alarm among nearby residents and passersby.
Firefighters from Gangadham Fire Station responded immediately after receiving the emergency call. Using water hoses, they managed to bring the flames under control within minutes, preventing the fire from spreading to other vehicles or surrounding property.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported. Authorities credited the swift reporting by alert citizens for preventing a potentially more serious incident.
