Pune Traffic Police Issues Diversions for Ganesh Visarjan in Chaturshringi Area
Pune, 5th September 2025: The Pune City Traffic Police has announced special traffic arrangements in the Chaturshringi jurisdiction, where 115 Ganesh mandals will conduct immersion processions today.
Procession Routes
The processions will pass through the following roads:
Baner Road, Aundh–Baner Link Road → Baner immersion ghat
Ganeshkhind Road, Seasons Mall Road (Aundh area)
Medipoint Nagar Road
Mahadji Shinde Road
ITI Road, Parihar Chowk, Rishi Malhotra Chowk → Aundh immersion ghat
Depending on crowd density, traffic from Savitribai Phule Pune University via Ganeshkhind Road towards Pimpri-Chinchwad and Sangvi will be diverted.
Alternative Routes:
Pune University → Bremen Chowk (right) → Spicer Chowk (left) → Shitolnagar Bridge → Sangvi/Pimpri-Chinchwad
Pune University → Bremen Chowk (right) → IUCAA Gate → Mula-Mutha New Bridge (Bopodi) → Sangvi/Pimpri-Chinchwad
Police have appealed to all citizens to cooperate and use designated diversions to ensure the processions pass safely and smoothly.
