Pune: Heavy Rainfall Likely to Continue in Pune City and Surrounding Areas Until Afternoon
Pune, 16th September 2025: As per the latest radar update at 1:11 PM, several areas in and around Pune are likely to experience further spells of moderate to heavy rainfall over the next few hours.
The incoming rain activity is expected to impact core Pune city and adjoining regions, including Kharadi, Baner, Aundh, Deccan, Swargate, Pune Station, Khadki, Susgaon, Pashan, Balewadi, Bavdhan, Kothrud, Pune University, and key zones within the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) such as Pimpri and Pimple.
The rainfall is forecast to persist until approximately 3:00 to 3:30 PM.
Residents are advised to remain alert, especially in low-lying areas, and avoid unnecessary travel during peak rainfall hours.
