Central Railway’s Karjat Block to Impact Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bhubaneshwar Trains
Pune/ Mumbai, 29th September 2025: Central Railway will operate Special Traffic and Power Day blocks for carrying out Pre Non-Interlocking works at Karjat station in connection with Karjat yard remodelling work.
Details of Block and repercussions on running of trains from 01.10.2025 (Wednesday) to 02.10.2025 (Thursday) is as follows:
Date and Duration of block:
01.10.2025 (Wednesday) from 11.20 hrs to 17.20 hrs
02.10.2025 (Thursday) from 11.00 hrs to 15.30 hrs
Traffic Block Section:
Between Bhivpuri station–Jambrung Cabin–Thakurvadi–Nagnath Cabin and Karjat.
Working of suburban trains during the block period:
Up and Down suburban services between Karjat & Khopoli will not be available during the block period.

Cancellation of Down Suburban trains
Karjat–Khopoli locals departing Karjat at 12.00 hrs, 13.15 hrs and 15.39 hrs will be cancelled.
Cancellation of Up Suburban trains
Khopoli–Karjat locals departing Khopoli at 11.20 hrs, 12.40 hrs and 14.55 hrs will be cancelled.
Short Termination of Suburban trains
CSMT–Karjat locals departing CSMT at 9.01 hrs, 9.30 hrs, 9.57 hrs, 11.14 hrs & 13.40 hrs will be short terminated at Neral station.
Thane–Karjat local departing Thane at 12.05 hrs will be short terminated at Neral station.
CSMT–Khopoli local departing CSMT at 12.20 hrs will be short terminated at Neral station.
CSMT–Karjat locals departing CSMT at 10.36 hrs & 14.45 hrs will be short terminated at Ambarnath station.
CSMT–Karjat local departing CSMT at 13.19 hrs will be short terminated at Thane station.
Short Origination of Suburban trains
Karjat–CSMT locals scheduled to depart Karjat at 10.43 hrs, 11.19 hrs, 12.00 hrs, 13.00 hrs, 13.55 hrs & 15.26 hrs will short originate from Neral station.
Karjat–Thane local scheduled to depart Karjat at 13.27 hrs will short originate from Neral station.
Karjat–CSMT locals scheduled to depart Karjat at 12.23 hrs & 16.00 hrs will short originate from Ambarnath station.
Khopoli–CSMT local scheduled to depart Khopoli at 13.48 hrs will short originate from Thane station.
Regulation of Mail & Express trains
Train no. 20495 Jodhpur–Hadapsar Express will be regulated at Bhiwandi station from 13.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs.
Train no. 11019 CSMT–Bhubaneshwar Express will be regulated at Bhivpuri Road station from 15.37 hrs to 17.40 hrs.
Train no. 22732 CSMT–Hyderabad Express will be regulated at Neral station from 15.48 hrs to 17.45 hrs.
Train no. 16588 Bikaner–Yesvantpur Express will be regulated at Vangani station from 15.50 hrs to 18.20 hrs.
Train no. 17613 Panvel–Nanded Express will be regulated at Chok station from 16.25 hrs to 18.10 hrs.
Train no. 11014 Coimbatore–LTT Express will be regulated at Monkey Hill Cabin from 11.43 hrs to 11.50 hrs.
Re-scheduling of Mail & Express trains
Train no. 22159 CSMT–Chennai Express scheduled to depart CSMT at 12.45 hrs is re-scheduled at 15.30 hrs.
Train no. 22101 LTT–Madurai Express scheduled to depart LTT at 13.15 hrs is re-scheduled at 16.00 hrs.
