Awareness Drive for Alcohol Dependents in Pune on October 1

Pune, 30th September 2025: Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.), a global fellowship dedicated to helping individuals overcome alcohol dependence, will conduct an awareness campaign across Pune district on October 1. The initiative aims to guide alcohol-dependent individuals and their families toward a healthier, addiction-free life.

Awareness stalls will be set up between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the outpatient departments (OPDs) of major government and private hospitals. These include Sassoon Hospital, Kamala Nehru Hospital, Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital, D.Y. Patil Hospital (Chinchwad), Aundh Hospital, Yerawada Mental Hospital, YCM Hospital, Ambedkar Hospital (Khadki), the Primary Health Center at Wagholi, and Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, along with several others in both urban and rural areas.

At these stalls, patients and their families will be offered free counseling, guidance, and informative pamphlets about Alcoholics Anonymous and the recovery support it provides.
