Pune, October 7, 2025: A large-scale free health check-up and surgery camp was organized at Mauje Nimbut in Haveli taluka on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday. The camp was jointly organized by the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, Charitable Hospital Help Room, Pune Collectorate Office, and the Bharatiya Janata Mazdoor Cell.

The initiative aimed to provide free medical consultation and treatment to residents of rural areas. Health services across multiple departments — including ophthalmology, dentistry, gynaecology, cardiology, orthopaedics, cancer diagnosis, and Ayurveda — were offered completely free of cost.

According to officials, around 28,000 citizens, including women, students, senior citizens, and workers, availed themselves of the medical facilities during the camp.

Chief Coordinator Dr. Mansing Sable said the camp was planned and executed meticulously to ensure maximum reach. “The objective was to promote the message of ‘Health for All’ and make quality healthcare accessible to the poor and needy,” Dr. Sable stated.

The camp was inaugurated by social worker Jyotitai Sawardekar. Chief organizers Suraj Todkar and Sujit Kakade, along with local volunteers, played a key role in coordinating the activities. The active participation of villagers contributed to the camp’s success, spreading a strong message of health awareness in the Nimbut region.
