Eaton Expands Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations with New Office in Pune

Baner, 13th October 2025: Intelligent power management company Eaton has announced the launch of its new Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (GSC CoE) and integrated manufacturing facility in Pune, marking a major step in strengthening its global operations and positioning India as a key strategic hub for growth.

The state-of-the-art facility, located in Baner and spread over 1.5 lakh square feet, was inaugurated by Rogerio Branco, Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain and Operations Officer; Sreekumar Panicker, Vice President and Head of the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence, India; and Pradeep Kumar SK, Country Head and Managing Director, India, along with other senior leaders from Eaton. The facility can accommodate 1500 employees.

The new office is designed as a collaborative hub to promote innovation, operational efficiency, and knowledge sharing across global teams. The expansion builds on India’s strong talent base in technology, engineering, supply chain, and operations, further reinforcing Eaton’s vision of transforming its global supply chain network.

Speaking at the inauguration, Sreekumar Panicker said, “The launch of our new supply chain and integrated manufacturing facility marks another milestone in Eaton’s growth journey in India. This center plays a critical role in driving operational excellence and digital transformation across our global supply chain. We are bringing together world-class talent to strengthen collaboration, build agility, and create sustainable value across our global operations.”

The Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence will support Eaton’s plants and supply chain teams worldwide by driving cost-optimization initiatives, standardizing sourcing processes, consolidating suppliers, and leveraging technology to enhance materials and logistics operations. The integration of manufacturing excellence within this framework aims to improve efficiency and reduce complexity across the value chain.

Eaton, which began operations in India in 1999, now employs over 6,300 people across seven manufacturing facilities and five Global Capability Centers. The Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC) in Pune is among the company’s largest engineering centers globally, contributing significantly to innovation and technology development for Eaton’s international programs.

Continuing its commitment to India, Eaton is expanding investments in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and digital capabilities to support its growing global customer base.
