Sadashiv Peth, 16th October 2025: Six female IT employees in Pune have finally received their Relieving Letters and Full & Final (FNF) Settlements after a persistent three-month effort involving multiple government offices, including the Pune Labour Office, Women’s Commission, and local police authorities. The settlement was handed over at Senadutta Police Chowki under Vishrambaug Police Station.

The employees had been waiting for their FNF and relieving documents for months, prompting intervention by the Forum for IT Employees (FITE). FITE representatives Prashant Pandit, Padmaja Pawar, and Pavanjit Mane played a key role in ensuring the company complied with legal obligations.

Speaking about the resolution, Pavanjit Mane said, “This victory is a testament to what determination and unity can achieve. These women did not give up despite the challenges, and the relentless follow-up with Labour Offices, Police, and Women’s Commission finally brought justice. Our goal is to ensure that employees in the IT sector receive their rightful dues without unnecessary delays.”

Mane also emphasized the broader issue: “The government must take measures to prevent such recurring delays. Employees should not have to wait for months to receive what is legally theirs. We urge authorities to mandate that Full & Final settlements and relieving documents be issued within seven days of an employee’s last working day.”

The FITE team extended heartfelt thanks to officials who supported the case, including Labour Commissioner Nikhil Walke, officers Kalamkar and Kasturi, Mahila Aayog Chairperson Rupali Chakankar, Deputy Collector Padmashree Bainade, ACP (Crime) Rajendra Mulik, Sr. PI Vijaymala Pawar, PI Arun Jadhav, and Priyadarshani Hinje.

This case highlights how courage, persistence, and collective action can safeguard employee rights and set a precedent for the IT sector in Pune.
“It is inspiring to see how these women, standing together, navigated bureaucratic channels and ensured justice was served,” said Mane, calling it a powerful example for all employees in the sector.
