Pune to Host Launch of Dr. Sujata Kelkar Shetty’s Latest Book on Parenting and Teen Wellness
Pune, 1st November 2025: The Pune International Centre (PIC) will host the launch of Dr. Sujata Kelkar Shetty’s new book, ‘Resilience Decoded: What Every Parent Should Know About Teen Mental Health’, on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the PIC Auditorium, behind C-DAC, Panchwati, Pashan, Pune.
The book will be released by noted psychiatrist and actor Dr. Mohan Agashe, who will be the Chief Guest for the event, and Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, President of PIC. Following the launch, Dr. Shetty will participate in a fireside chat with Dhanashree Bhide Kelkar. The event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Sujata Kelkar Shetty—an award-winning author, biological scientist, and wellness expert—blends science and real-life stories in her latest work to offer practical insights for parents on building resilience in teenagers. ‘Resilience Decoded’ provides actionable guidance on cultivating healthy habits, setting digital boundaries, and fostering effective communication to help teens thrive emotionally and mentally.
A Ph.D. in Toxicology from the U.S., Dr. Shetty has conducted pioneering research on stress at the National Institutes of Health. She is widely recognized for making science accessible and relevant through her writing, workshops, and talks on emotional and physical well-being.
Established in 2011, Pune International Centre is an independent think tank that engages in deliberations on issues of national importance.
